CameraDuel LLC ("CameraDuel," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information such as your name, username, email address, date of birth (used to confirm you are old enough to use the Service), and profile photo
• Photos you take and submit as part of daily duels
• Content you create in the app, such as votes and any message you add to a birthday card you send a friend
• A hashed form of your phone number and contacts, used only to help you find friends who are already on CameraDuel (see below)

We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, including device information, app usage, log data, and a push notification token if you enable notifications.

Finding Friends From Your Contacts

If you choose to let CameraDuel find friends from your contacts, we match using a salted, one-way hash of phone numbers and email addresses. We do not store your raw contacts, and we never message anyone in your contacts on your behalf. You can use the Service without granting contacts access.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Pair you with friends for daily duels and deliver each day's prompt
• Process your subscription (payments are handled by Apple or Google — see below)
• Send notifications about your duels and friends, which you can turn off at any time
• Understand how the Service is used so we can make it better
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may share information with:

• The friends you play with, as part of the core experience — see "Your Photos" below
• Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as our cloud database and storage provider, our email and SMS providers, our subscription-management provider (RevenueCat), and the app stores that process payments
• Law enforcement or other parties when required by law

Your Photos

Photos are captured and stored at display resolution only — we don't keep full-resolution originals. In a one-on-one or group duel, neither side can see a photo until everyone has submitted. Your photos are visible only to the friends in that duel, and they are never used for advertising or shared with third parties outside the duel experience.

Because a duel is something you share with your friends, a photo you've submitted becomes part of that shared history. If you delete your account, photos you already shared into a duel may remain visible to the friends you dueled — much like a message you've already sent to someone. Everything private to your account is deleted (see below).

Payments

CameraDuel offers an optional Premium subscription. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider, which identifies your account by an internal ID and purchase history — not your name or email. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

Data Retention and Deleting Your Account

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the date above.
